Technology

Present wirelessly with ClickShare

ClickShare connects your laptop or smartphone wirelessly to the displays and speakers in your meeting room. Alternatively, you can present via Apple AirPlay, Samsung Smart View, or any device that supports Miracast or screen mirroring. For this, you need to be connected to the “Mezza” Wi-Fi network.

With the ClickShare Button:

1. Plug the ClickShare Button into a USB port on your laptop.
2. Install the program via Finder (macOS) or Explorer (Windows); double-click the icon to start the application.
3. When the ring around the button lights up red, it is already projecting your screen to the monitor. Click the center of the ring to stop sharing.

Without a USB port: With the app, you can use presenter mode even without the button: for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

ClickShare app for Windows

1. Connect your laptop to the “Mezza” Wi-Fi network and download the ClickShare app for Windows.
2. Open the downloaded folder from your download history.
3. In the folder, click “ClickShare_Setup” to install the program.
4. Once the program is installed, select the room you want to project in.
5. A four-digit number appears on the screen in the room. Enter it in the ClickShare program to connect.

ClickShare app for macOS

1. Connect your laptop to the “Mezza” Wi-Fi network and download the ClickShare app for macOS.
2. Open the downloaded folder from your download history and click “ClickShare_Setup”.
3. In the “ClickShare Client” window, click “Applications”.
4. Open the installed ClickShare.app there and select the room you want to project in.
5. A four-digit number appears on the screen in the room. Enter it in the app to connect.

Digital whiteboard

Turn the 4K displays into a writable canvas:

1. Turn on the display (button at the lower left edge), then press the button to the right of it.
2. Select “Application” and tap the “Direct Drawing” icon.
3. Write, draw, and format with your finger or the black pen from the tray beneath the screen.
4. Save up to 10 pages to a USB stick in one go: tap the icon with the three dots in the menu on the left, then the folder icon. The USB port is on the left side of the display.

Tablet control

Adjust your meeting room using the tablet. At the push of a button, you control:

• Screen: the source for the display, such as your laptop via ClickShare
• Volume
• Lighting and circadian daylight ceiling (Room 2 and Room 3)
• Temperature
• Curtains

Circadian daylight ceiling

In Room 2 and Room 3, you control the daylight ceiling with the tablet on the column next to the screen. You choose between four predefined scenes, the light moods “Energizing,” “Daylight,” and “Calming,” or set the white and yellow values yourself.

Switchable glazing

Room 1: Use the control module to the left of the entrance door to switch the glazing from transparent to frosted or semi-transparent.

Rooms 5 and 6: Use the remote control to switch the glass walls to transparent, frosted, or semi-transparent.

Restrooms

You’ll find the restrooms just down the stairs (or by elevator) on the ground floor.

To the Frannys restaurant

From Room 5 and Room 6 on level 2, you reach Frannys via the hallway outside the hotel rooms, on the right. From Room 1 to Room 4 on level 1, take the stairs or the elevator across from Room 1 up to level 2.

Parking

The entire 10th district is a short-term parking zone. Feel free to park your car in our underground parking garage: €29 per 24 hours or €4 per hour, and charging at the four EV charging stations is free. How to get to the garage →

Smoking

Out of consideration for our hotel guests, smoking is not allowed in the meeting garden (accessible from Rooms 2, 3, and 4). The courtyard of the Pergola restaurant, café & bar has its own smoking area, heated in winter, reached directly via the stairs on level 1.

After the seminar

If you’ve worked hard, you’ve earned a reward: refreshments and good food await at the Pergola restaurant, café & bar, daily until 1 am. View the menu →

Fresh air

The meeting and event rooms are ventilated with fresh air only, so there’s no need to open the windows.

Video conferencing

For smaller rooms, you can rent our portable video conferencing system: 120° field of view, automatic speaker focus, 4K camera. For larger online events, Room 3 is ready with professional hybrid technology. More info: mezzanin@zeitgeist-vienna.com

Chill & workout area

For a break in between, the green chill & workout area in the Zeitgeist garden is waiting for you. You can get badminton rackets, boccia balls, mini golf clubs, and more from our service staff.
