The fastest way to reach us is not the City Airport Train (CAT). The ÖBB Railjet connects Vienna International Airport (Schwechat) directly with Vienna Central Station (Hauptbahnhof): it takes 15 minutes and runs every 30 minutes. Just 300 meters then remain between Vienna Central Station and the hotel.

Zeitgeist Vienna has its own underground parking garage (entrance clearance 2.10 m, vehicles up to 2.00 m) with direct elevator access to the hotel lobby.

Cost (hotel guests): €29 per 24 hours or €4 per hour

Since Vienna has introduced short-term parking zones across the entire city, street parking is only possible with a resident parking permit (Parkpickerl) or a paper parking voucher (Parkschein). On weekdays between 9 am and 10 pm, the maximum parking time is 2 hours. You can buy parking vouchers at gas stations or tobacconists (Trafiken) for €3.40 per hour. Did you know? With our Smart Check-in, you can enjoy your room even sooner: fill in the information required under Austrian registration law in advance. Once you arrive at the hotel, all you need to do is pick up your room key card at the front desk. Pretty smart, right?

After your drive, charge your electric car at one of our EV charging stations in the underground parking garage. Charging is free; you only pay the parking fee. The underground parking garage is public, and spaces can’t be reserved in advance.

A fee of €29 per 24 hours applies for using the parking garage.

Arrival and departure times are:
- Check-in from 3 pm
- Check-out by noon

For direct bookers, meaning guests who booked with us directly through our website, by phone, or by email, the following applies:
- Early check-in from 2 pm (instead of 3 pm)
- Late check-out by 1 pm (instead of noon)

Outside these times, you’re welcome to store your luggage in our luggage storage room. For a late check-out, please contact the front desk. Our front desk is staffed around the clock.

Just 300 meters from Zeitgeist Vienna, you’ll find Vienna Central Station, with plenty of shops and connections to local and long-distance trains as well as the public transportation of Wiener Linien. When you leave the hotel, simply turn right and walk straight along Sonnwendgasse. After about a 3-minute walk, you’ll see the station ahead of you.

Our housekeeping department cleans your room daily between 9 am and 4 pm. You can also opt out of room cleaning at the front desk. Because that’s good for the environment (it saves electricity and water), you’ll receive a €5 voucher for our restaurant, café & bar Pergola as a small thank-you.

Subway line U1, tram line 18, and bus 13A all depart directly from Vienna Central Station. Tram line D and bus 69A also stop right near the hotel. Single tickets and 24-hour tickets are available at the front desk; you can buy all other tickets at a ticket machine in Vienna Central Station.

At our front desk, you can get a sewing kit, eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes, and environmentally friendly toothpaste tablets (no plastic tubes), as well as feminine hygiene products made from organic cotton with no synthetic additives. The supermarket next door carries many more personal care products (open Monday through Saturday).

Just 350 meters from the hotel, you’ll find the Columbus Apotheke pharmacy, where qualified professionals are happy to advise you on any health-related questions.

Well rested, you’re ready for our extensive breakfast buffet in the restaurant Frannys (2nd floor), with organic, regional & homemade treats, of course also in vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

You can have your clothes laundered through our laundry service (prices are available at the front desk). Just bring your laundry to the front desk before 9 am, and it can be delivered to your room the same day from 6 pm.

On the 6th floor, you also have the option of washing, drying, and ironing your own clothes in our guest laundry room. Detergent tabs are available at the front desk for €1 each.

All room categories come standard with hair & body wash and hand wash at the bathroom sink. In the Deluxe, Prestige, Loft, and Suite room categories, you’ll find an accessory set (with shower cap, sewing kit, cotton pads, cotton swabs, and nail file), plus hair & body wash, hand wash, conditioner, and hand & body lotion from the brand Be Different! (the dispensers are 100% recyclable) and from Fair CosmEthics, which supports the principles of fair trade by using Fairtrade-certified cane sugar and Brazil nut oil. Eco-friendly toothbrushes, toothpaste tablets, and feminine hygiene products made from organic cotton are available at the front desk. Every room has a shoehorn and a shoe-shine sponge.

For a little snack in between meals, late-night cravings, and other culinary emergencies, you’ll find vending machines with snacks and drinks on floors 3 to 6 (rooms 327, 427, 527, and 627).

You’ll find the nearest ATM at “Oberbank,” which is right near the hotel. When you leave the hotel, turn right and walk 50 meters straight ahead. The Oberbank branch is on the right-hand side.

Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. There’s no password: just connect to the “Zeitgeist” network and start surfing!

Just 66 meters from the hotel, you’ll find a Billa supermarket. It has a wide selection of groceries and drugstore products for your everyday needs during your stay.

Across from the hotel is the Favoriten substation (Umspannwerk Favoriten), one of the oldest substations of Wiener Netze GmbH. It is still in operation today and, thanks to its unique design, has been used as a film set several times.

Right next to it is the Favoriten fire department (Berufsfeuerwehr Favoriten). The fire station was largely destroyed in World War II, but the brick building survived and is now a protected historic building.

On request (and subject to availability), you can get ergonomic TEMPUR pillows at the front desk. This service is free of charge and unfortunately can’t be reserved in advance.

Rooms in the Deluxe, Deluxe Plus, Prestige, Loft, and Suite categories come with a fridge in the room. Guests in other categories are welcome to rent one (empty, for you to fill yourself).

To make our four-legged guests feel at home, too, we offer a dog package for €18 per dog per night. It includes 2 dog bowls, a dog mat, organic treats, and the final cleaning. Dogs are warmly welcome in the rooms as well as in our restaurant and bar areas. On arrival, you leave a one-time deposit of €30. We ask for your understanding that fighting dogs or restricted breeds are not permitted in our hotel.

At the desks in our hotel rooms, you’ll find international outlets that are compatible with devices from the following countries:

A safe for valuables is available in your room’s closet.

In the Prestige, Loft, and Suite room categories, you’ll find a coffee machine & aluminum-free Julius Meinl FAIRTRADE capsules waiting for you. All other categories are welcome to rent a coffee machine with capsules (subject to availability).

Our green courtyard has sun loungers, a badminton court, a bocce court, outdoor fitness equipment, the smallest golf course in the city, and much more for everyone looking to relax or move. Guests can borrow the sports equipment and yoga mats from the bar free of charge.

Explore Vienna from the saddle and enjoy the fresh air: borrow one of our modern Zeitgeist bikes at the front desk, free of charge, with a €200 deposit. First come, first served!

As a guest of Zeitgeist Vienna, you can use our fitness room with modern TechnoGym equipment free of charge.

The infrared cabin starts automatically as soon as you sit down. We recommend using it for a maximum of 20 minutes. Please sit on a towel and clean the backrest and the seat afterward.

If you’d like to use our sauna, just let the front desk know at +43 1 90 265 so we can preheat it. After about 20 minutes, it’s ready for your sauna session.
