The Hotel Zeitgeist Vienna (Zeitgeist Hotelbetrieb GmbH) strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) in its current version and Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

Status of compliance with requirements

The aforementioned websites are currently undergoing a revision phase with regard to accessibility. Based on an analysis carried out on July 11, 2025, by the internet agency XD Consulting GmbH, the site is currently being gradually adapted to meet legal requirements.

The ongoing measures include, among other things:

  • Addition of alternative texts (alt texts) for images and graphics

  • Improvement of color contrasts

  • Adjusting keyboard navigation

  • Correction of structural HTML elements

  • Extension of labels and ARIA labels

  • Testing for compatibility with screen readers

PDF documents are available for download on the website, but these are not yet accessible. If you need help with inaccessible PDF documents, please contact us at the email address below.

External sources are used to display images and videos on embedded links on social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tripadvisor). We have no influence on the content provided by third parties.

Our room booking software is provided by an external provider, Hotelpartner Management AG. This provider also endeavors to comply with accessibility requirements. For this outsourced functional area, responsibility for digital accessibility lies with the provider itself.

The website is continuously updated to achieve the highest possible level of accessibility.

Creation of this statement

This statement was prepared on July 11, 2025, based on an internal assessment and an external analysis by the agency XD Consulting GmbH. The next comprehensive assessment is scheduled for July 2026.
