Those who have the courage to break new ground will find an innovative roof over their heads at Hotel Zeitgeist Vienna. Only green electricity comes out of the sockets and the hotel’s own e-charging station. The rooms are equipped with modern water-saving shower systems. On top of that, forgoing the daily towel change brings a green rate discount of up to -20% on the room rate. This year, the popular city hotel launched its photovoltaic system. In the first half of the year alone, it saved 12 tonnes of CO2 and produced 32 MWh of electricity. This corresponds to the electricity consumption of a two-person household for 10 years!
