Get to your room faster with Smart Check-In: avoid long lines at the reception by checking your registration details contactless and at your leisure from home or on the road. If your room is ready for occupancy, you will directly receive your Room card.
Room category and view
The rooms booked for you by the BMF (or BFA) are in our room categories Urban, City and Barrier-free (equipment like category Urban but barrier-free and therefore up to 25% larger. The shower area is also wheelchair accessible). For structural reasons, only about a quarter of the rooms in these categories face the inner courtyard. We therefore ask for your understanding that we can only fulfill the frequently expressed wish for a room facing the inner courtyard to a limited extent.
Upgrade
For an extra charge of € 15,- per night you can for example change to the next higher category, which is Deluxe. The 20% larger room is equipped with a double bed, rain shower and refrigerator, and also offers the full service of the hotel (linen change at least twice a week, etc.). For an extra charge of € 25,- per night the Prestige with terrace category (suitable for smokers) is available. By the way, except for the rooms with terrace, all higher room categories have the view of the inner courtyard.

To use our services, please contact our reception directly at +43 1 90 265. Our reception is open for you 24 hours a day.
Please note that rooms booked directly by BFA can also only be changed or cancelled by BFA. Therefore, please contact the BFA directly.
Arrival & Departure
In the contract between BMF and Zeitgeist it was agreed that the rooms will be at your disposal until 11 am on the day of departure. Your check-out takes place directly at our hotel reception.

Coffee maker
You are welcome to rent a coffee maker for the duration of your stay:

TEMPUR pillows
You are welcome to rent a TEMPUR pillow for the duration of your stay:
TEMPUR pillows for side or stomach sleepers are available for € 7,- per commenced week. (subject to availability)
Fridge
We are happy to provide you with a small refrigerator for € 12,- per commenced week.
Attention: While accidents have already occurred, we must prohibit the placement of all utensils and food on the windowsills (outside)!
Parking space in the underground garage
Our hotel’s own underground parking garage offers sufficient secure parking spaces, a reservation is not necessary or possible.
Cost: € 25,- for full 24 hours, € 86,- per week as well as a special price of € 132,- per month
Please note: In Vienna, the area-wide short-stay parking zone applies from Mon. to Fri. from 9am to 10pm (max. parking duration 2 hours; parking tickets available at tobacconists for € 2.50 per hour).
Passage to the Federal Academy of Finance
On 5th and 6th floor of the hotel (BFA side on the 4th and 5th floor), direct crosswalks to the Federal Finance Academy are located across from rooms 560 and 660. The crossings are to be opened with your service card.
Buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor
We offer our handmade organic breakfast daily from 6am to 10am in our restaurant Frannys (2nd floor) for a special price of of € 19,- instead of € 27,-.
Restaurant-Café-Bar Pergola on the ground floor
Our casual-urban Restaurant-Café-Bar Pergola across from the lobby is open daily.

We are also happy to accept your Sodexo vouchers.
Room & Laundry Service
– Towels are changed on Tuesday and Friday (after three days if you stay less than a week).
– Change of bed linen takes place on Friday or Saturday
– additional change of bed linen or towels is possible for an extra charge of € 5,- per piece (please let the reception know)
– Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge separate cleaning fees for serious laundry soiling.
Drinks, Sweets & Snacks
Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available on floors 3 to 6 for those in-between snacks.

Weekend
Most guests of the BMF do not stay in the hotel on weekends. If you are still staying in the house, please let our reception team know.
Extra person
For an additional person in the room we charge € 18,- per night (breakfast not included).
Own bikes
We kindly ask you to park your own bicycles in the designated parking area in our underground garage. No liability is accepted for damage or theft. Parking in the room is prohibited.
Open fire is prohibited
Any form of open fire (candles, incense, etc.) is strictly prohibited in our rooms.
Smoking
We have a covered and in winter heated smoking area in the courtyard for you. However, between 10pm and 7am smoking is only possible IN FRONT OF the hotel. We kindly point out that our entire hotel is otherwise a non-smoking hotel. In case of non-compliance we will charge fees of up to € 250.
Room safe
The room safe is at your disposal to store all your valuables. However, we would like to point out that we cannot accept any liability for valuables in your hotel room.
Electrical appliances brought along
Unfortunately, self-brought electrical appliances are repeatedly put into operation, which are defective and also do not comply with the legal regulations. This has already caused cable fires, short circuits and even a room fire in a previous operation.
We therefore ask you to unplug your hairdryer, curling iron, etc., after use. Other electrical appliances with high power consumption and/or heat emission – including coffee machines, kettles, hot plates, refrigerators, etc. – may NOT be used in our rooms.
Liability
In the event of damage to or soiling of the building or inventory, the damage caused must be compensated by the party responsible. Compensation payments must be made without delay. Theft and intentional damage to property will be reported immediately. In the event of violations of one or more of the regulations, the host is entitled at any time to terminate the accommodation contract with the person concerned without notice. The obligation to pay for the booked overnight stays remains.
